Hi everyone!! guess what I am out of the pediatric intensive care unit and onto my own room to recovery!! I don't have to be on morphine anymore for pain, just loratab and ibprofun. Still not very happy and I really don't want to eat anything.
I still have all 3 of my chest tubes in, they are still draining. My chest tubes are awful they cause me so much pain. I can't wait until I am well enough to take them out. I am watching Shrek and Bolt so, that keeps my mind off all the other stuff. Thanks everyone for the calls, comments and prayers.

    Calli, you are doing so good! When the tubes are draining, that means your body is working the way it should- it is healing! Yeah!
    I know it is hard to wait to feel better, but you can do it. Do you remember what we do to show that we are waiting? Try it, maybe it will help. I'll do it with you, ok. I'm thinking about you a lot. In fact Lew wonders if I am going to get any work done because I'm always checking this blog! I really like your pictures. loves and hugs to you (but a soft hug, so it won't hurt)

    I can't believe that awsome heart of yours Calli!! You must be a princess because you are loved so much! That's what is making your heart heal so fast it has a lot of love in it and wants to share it with everyone! Hey I hear they have really good chocolate doughnuts at PCH would you ask for one and take a big bite of it for me and tell me if it is any good? Your Mom and Dad are pretty cool to let you watch so many fun vidios and eat slushy's.
    I'm glad to see that you have a big window so you can have the sunshine make you happy! We miss you and hope to hear that you are going to come home soon! We love you and are so happy to hear you are doing sooo good!

    Hi Callie! I am so glad you are in a nice big room now. Now you can look at that big window and smile everyday cuz you know you are only getting better! Hope you get to go home before Thursday so I don't have to come see you but if you are still there I will stop by.
